Jennifer Liang graduated from Georgia State University in 2005 with her Bachelor’s in Middle Childhood Education and will finish her Master’s Degree in Special Education in July. She has taught Language Arts, Reading, Science and Social Studies as well as used Expeditionary Learning methods at Amana Academy, The Cottage School and Cumberland Academy of Georgia. A lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy, Jennifer is a programming Director for Dragon*Con, the Chair of JordanCon and has been a featured presenter at WorldCon, MiniCon, LibertyCon and the North American Science Fiction Convention. Jennifer has also been featured as a presenter for the Georgia Independent School Association on the topics of “Multi-Media in the Social Studies Classroom” and “Board Games, Role-playing and Simulations for the Social Studies Classroom” She blogs about local restaurants, recipes, and sustainable living as “Northside Food” and has had her writing featured on Tor.com.

 

 

The Orion School is a member of the Georgia Association of Private Schools for Exceptional Children (GAPSEC)  
The State Board of Education has approved The Orion School to participate in the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program
