Lucy is the Director of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs for Coca-Cola North America. She has worked at The Coca-Cola Company for 22 years with increasing roles of responsibility. In her current position, Lucy directs activities to provide leadership in the scientific and regulatory areas for products sold in the U.S. and ensure compliance of beverages with government food regulations.
Lucy is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and is active in food industry associations. She serves on the Juice Products Association’s Board of Directors and the University of Georgia Food Product Innovation and Commercialization Center Board of Advisors. She was previously a member of the U.S. delegation for the Codex Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Task force for Fruit Juices.
Lucy is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a Master of Science degree in Food Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition.
Lucy previously served on the Houston Delta Gamma Foundation Board and was an active member chairing various committees to benefit the blind and visually impaired.
Lucy and her husband Bob have two children, Elizabeth and Charlie. They reside in Druid Hills and are members of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church where Lucy volunteers in the children’s education area.
