Club Orion After School
Club Orion offers the only after school program in Atlanta specially designed for children who have ADHD with related social and emotional challenges; including ASD and SPD. The focus is on self esteem, social skills, creative expression, and self regulation. This program has an every day option or a choice of days per week. Our goal is to help children build confidence and friendships in a nurturing and structured setting.
WHO: This program is for children ages 5-13. You do not need to be an Orion School student to attend Club Orion.
WHEN: 2010/2011 School Year
Fall Semester August 17th - December 16th
Spring Semester January 4th – May 26th
Hours Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:00

WHERE: The Orion School in Midtown Atlanta

WHAT: Every Day will include
* An active after school that is structured to ensure an ongoing successful experience for children with social and emotional challenges
* A teacher to child ratio of 1:4
* Snack
* Homework help if needed
* Tenants of The Alert Program as well as a program wide positive behavior plan to help each child learn self regulation strategies.
* Social skill building activities - including problem solving, frustration management, cooperative play, and friendship building.
Club Orion After School enrichment activities that are part of the program include: Gardening, Nature Studies, Art, Martial Arts, Drumming, Yoga, and Sport skills.
HOW: Tuition Cost for After School Program
School year tuition fee is $4000
School year tuition fee per day is $1100 (e.g. Child attends every Wednesday)
